Vaillant ISH 2025 with
Schmidhuber Brand Experience
Designing a holistic motion design concept for Vaillants Main LED at the ISH 25 which was adapted for print and other screens.

Rather than starting with graphics, I first explored different visual directions to see what best reflected Vaillant's message. The moodboards helped shape the overall look and feel, and from there a circular motion language emerged that connected naturally with the exhibition architecture.

I developed a motion system based on the stepped architecture of the exhibition. Every animation follows the same upward movement, connecting the LED content with the physical space.

Typography became the main design element. Motion wasn't there to decorate the content—it helped reveal information, guide attention and keep messages easy to read across the exhibition. Gradients, timing and transitions were kept simple so the content stayed clear on large LED walls while still feeling energetic and recognisable as Vaillant.

The result was a consistent motion language that tied the different content areas together and made the exhibition feel like one experience.
